How CFCN Started
CFCN began with a simple observation: students care deeply about wildlife and the environment, but many have never heard that bird-window collisions are one of the leading human-caused threats to birds. We started this network to turn that awareness into action — giving young people the knowledge, tools, and community to make coastlines safer for migrating birds.
What started as a small idea has grown into a national program that connects students, educators, and conservation partners. Every window made safer and every student who speaks up is a step toward healthier coastlines.
